Overview
An app that answers the everyday question "where should we eat?". It finds restaurants around your current location and lets you save the ones you like into your own list. Currently in development, targeting a launch on App-in-Toss.
Key features
- Location-based discovery: nearby restaurants surfaced automatically from your GPS position
- Kakao Map integration: live location and directions via the Kakao Map API
- Saved places: bookmark restaurants and manage them as lists
- Category filters: search by Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Western and other categories
- Detail view: opening hours, phone number, reviews and more
Tech stack
Maps and place search are built on the Kakao Map API, with Supabase as the backend database holding bookmark and review data. A Node.js serverless API is deployed on Vercel, and Google Gemini powers the recommendation feature. Distribution runs through the App-in-Toss platform.
Status
In development, targeting a launch on App-in-Toss.
